The hotel is a mixed bag, with comfortable and nicely decorated rooms but in need of renovation. The service was a bit of a rollercoaster, with some brilliant moments but also instances of unhelpfulness. The location is excellent, being near the town center and within walking distance to various attractions. The dining experience had its ups and downs, with good value for money but some letdowns in clarity and quality. Facilities are okay but could be improved.

Rooms
7.0
My room was a reasonable size and clean, with complimentary tea, coffee, biscuits, and bottled water, making it nice and cozy. However, it's clear that the place needs some renovation to match the comfort level with modern standards.
Service
6.0
The service was a mix of brilliance and disappointment. Some staff members were very helpful, cheery, and professional, while others seemed unhelpful, bordering on rude, which was a letdown.
Location
8.0
The location was a highlight, being near the town center and within easy reach of the main shopping areas and excellent cafes. It was also close to the river, which added to the overall positive experience.
Dining
6.0
The dining experience had its pros and cons. While some aspects were good value for money, like the homemade biscuits, there were also some disappointments, such as unclear additional costs that were not transparent during the booking process.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were okay, offering basic amenities but with room for improvement to enhance the overall guest experience.

7.0/10

I stayed at the hotel, which is centrally located and close to popular bars and city attractions. The rooms were comfortable, but noise from the street made it hard to relax on the weekend. The service was friendly and accommodating, making our stay more pleasant. The dining experience left something to be desired, with lackluster food options. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were comfortable and had a bit of toothpaste residue on the mirror.
Service
8.0
The staff were helpful in addressing room issues and parking arrangements.
Location
8.0
The location was great for accessing bars and city attractions, but noise from deliveries could be disruptive early in the morning.
Dining
5.0
The dining options were subpar with unappetizing deep-fried items in a dimly lit setting that could use an update.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities were basic but functional for a short stay.
